What are the symptoms of bronchitis? I have a chest pain that is worse when I take a deep breath. It's a scratchy feeling. I don't have a fever. It started out with shortness of breath, but has since lessened. Seems like it started in my chest and travelled to my ear with some drainage

Hello, Bronchitis would present with cough, sputum production, breathing difficulty, chest discomfort or pain/ mild fever. Ear pain with drainage indicates there is infection at the ear. It needs to be evaluated and you may need antibiotic course for it. Till than - Motrin, warm compress {over the ear}/ steam inhalation should give relief. Wish you well. Best
